Upgrading Your Business Website: Using a Purpose-Driven Design

Whether you’re managing a small business or a huge corporation, you need to focus on marketing it through your website. Work with a good web design company to maintain your brand’s aesthetics. However, before finalizing a deal with a reputable web design agency, you should learn about these four rules.

User Experience

Map out your users’ journey.

Put yourself at the shoes of your website visitors. Where are all these audiences coming from? What are those relevant keywords that can grab their attention, and encourage them to click? What kind of messaging do you want to deliver? If your target market has several segments, every persona should have a unique user pathway or journey.

Prioritize and simplify.

Guide users towards the direction you want them to take. Remember that brilliant user experience is all about simplifying things. Remove all of the extraneous content. Limit the amount of elements in page layouts and navigation menus to seven. If not, you will confuse visitors.

Educate your entire team about the ins and outs of your business.

When designing web pages for businesses, every person in your team should have a solid understanding of the entire business and all its verticals. This is most especially true for many B2B companies, which often provide services and products to diverse audiences.

Determine your goals.

This is the very first thing you should keep in mind. What is the purpose of the website you are making? Creating a website and just choosing a random design is not enough. You need to think of what you want to achieve. Your goals should be measurable and clear.
